Initially from a small group of international headteachers who had been collaborating locally and then moved to other countries, International Headteacher was developed to act as a central resource that could be shared to support each other no matter where their school was located. Over some time, the resources and site grew with more school leaders asking to become involved; leading to the International Headteacher site. 

Originally designed to be for school leaders, many requests to support international teachers to help secure new international posts were being received, which has in turn allowed this site to develop.

​We welcome teachers and educators. No matter what your curriculum experience or school ethos, International Headteacher supports all tentative, current and previous members of the international school community to get to where they want to be in their career.
